Frelinghuysen Seniors Group
Day Trip Planned
The Frelinghuysen Seniors are sponsoring a day trip to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse on July 22, 2009. The show “Singin’, Dancin’ A Little Romancin’”, is a musical with a live orchestra. The trip, which is open to the public, is $65.00 per person, includes lunch, show and gratuity. Mission:
The purpose of the Frelinghuysen Seniors Group is to promote fellowship in the township among its senior citizens by bringing them together regularly to participate in a variety of activities.
The Frelinghuysen Seniors Group meets at 12:00 on the second Tuesday of each month at the Frelinghuysen Town Hall. The group has been in existence for approximately 15 years and currently has about 40 members.
In addition to the monthly meetings, the group also participates in “Fork and Spoon” outings which take them to a different local restaurant for lunch each month.
Approximately twice a year, the Frelinghuysen Seniors Group organizes trips to local dinner theaters. Details about the trips are determined by the group at the monthly meetings.
